Bette "Carolyn" Larrimore

Monday, July 17, 2017, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was 51.Born in Easton on August 13, 1965, she was the daughter of the late Donald Mason Larrimore and Margaret Willis Larrimore.A dedicated employee, Carolyn worked at the Poseidon and Annie’s before she started working for Queenstown Bank in Grasonville in 2002.In 1983, she met the love of her life, Michael Newman, who proceeded her in death in December 2013. She will be remembered by family, friends, coworkers, and customers who knew her for her outgoing, friendly and bubbly personality and infectious laugh.Carolyn enjoyed going to the casino, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family.She is survived by her children: Matthew Newman (Nazia) of El Cajon, Calif.; Lauren Newman of Centreville, Md.; granddaughter, Henna Janjua of El Cajon, Calif.; her sisters: Helen Katinas (Mike) of Queenstown, Md.; Dawn Edwards (Donnie) of Queen Anne, Md.; Martha Larrimore of Centreville; mother-in-law, Elizabeth Newman of Centreville; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Newman; brothers-in-law: David and Clifford Newman; beloved nieces: Georgeanne McCreary (Walt); Andrea and Aliki Katinas; Maron Warble (Adam); Jessica Beasley; great-nephews: Peyton McCreary; Emery Warble; Everett Larrimore; and an unborn great-niece Warble who will be arriving within the next month; her cat, Dinah; and a host of loving cousins. She was preceded in death by her cherished nephew, Mason Larrimore.A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 22, at the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. in Centreville, MD, where friends and family may visit on Friday, July 21 from 6-8 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Easton, MD.Guests are encouraged to wear bright colors as a reflection of Carolyn’s sparkling personality.Her family requests that memorial contributions be made to Compass Regional Hospice, 160 Coursevall Dr., Centreville, MD 21617, and earmarked for the Camp New Dawn Program.For online condolences, please visit: www.fhnfuneral h... Judith Straub

She was 75 years old.Judy was employed by IBM Office Products Division in January, 1966. She was promoted to District Manager of Marketing Support in January 1967 and worked in that position until her marriage to Erik K. Straub in September, 1970 where upon she moved to Baltimore, MD.In 1979, Judy and her husband moved from Monkton, MD to Easton to go into the marine construction business. Judy later worked with the Talbot Bank planning their 100th anniversary celebration. Upon Mr. Straub’s retirement, they moved to Florida in 2006, although they kept their home in Talbot County.As a very active volunteer in Easton, Judy worked with United Fund for several years, the Republican Party and the Academy Art Museum as membership chairman and President.Mrs. Straub is survived by her husband, Erik of 46 years. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary S. Pierce of Michigan and Martha S. Linhard of Timonium; twelve nieces and nephews and fourteen grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, C. Beaumont De Planque Stegman and Edward R. Stegman of Baltimore and her younger sister, Jean S. Schultz of Silver Spring, MD.Friends may call on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newman Funeral Home, 200 South Harrison St., Easton. A private burial will be held at Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens in Timonium, MD on Friday, December 23rd.
